Common Questions and Solutions

• No Sound or Audio Not Playing: Make sure your device is not on silent (check the side switch on iPhone/iPad), turn the volume up, and confirm any in-app sound setting is enabled. All audio is built into the app, so no internet connection is needed for it to play.
• Switching Languages: You can change between English and Lithuanian in the settings. Each word and sentence has its own recording in both languages.
• Parent Settings: Options intended for grown-ups are kept in a parent area so children stay focused on learning.
• Progress or Settings Reset: Progress and preferences are saved on your device. Deleting and reinstalling the app, or resetting the device, will clear them.
• Content Looks Cut Off or Won't Load: Try closing and reopening the app, or updating to the latest version. If it continues, email us with your device model and a screenshot.

Privacy Policy for Little Car Reader

Little Car Reader ("we," "us," or "our") is an educational app made for young children learning to read. We take children's privacy seriously and have built the app to collect no personal data at all. This Privacy Policy explains our practices.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal details, and it does not require you to create an account or sign in.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The app saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, such as your language choice, settings, and learning progress. This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is removed if you delete the app.

3. No Tracking, Advertising, or Analytics

• No Advertising: The app contains no ads and no advertising networks.
• No Analytics: We do not use any analytics or usage-tracking services.
• No Tracking: We do not track you or your child across apps or websites, and we do not share data with data brokers.
• No Third-Party Accounts: The app does not integrate social logins or third-party accounts.

4. Device Permissions

Little Car Reader does not request access to the microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive device features. All sounds in the app are pre-recorded audio files included with the app and played back on the device.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for young children and is designed to comply with the principles of children's privacy laws such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because the app collects no personal information and contains no ads, analytics, or tracking, there is no personal data of a child (or anyone else) for us to access, use, or disclose.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not rely on third-party services to collect or process personal data. Some standard system features (for example, the device's built-in share sheet, if you choose to use it) are provided by your device's operating system and are governed by the device maker's own privacy policy.

7. Data Security

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no personal data for us to lose or expose. Any information saved by the app stays within your device's own protected storage.

8. Changes to This Policy

If our practices ever change, we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the "Last Updated" date above.
